Release Dates for Top Games in January 2018 for PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and PC

While the holiday season of big releases is over, January still has plenty of exciting new games, like Dragon Ball FighterZ, Monster Hunter: World, and The Inpatient. There's also a fair amount of fighting games this month, such as Dissidia: Final Fantasy NT and the latest version of Street Fighter V. If competitive fighting isn't your preference, RPGs like Lost Sphear and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory round out the month's humble roster.

The Inpatient (PSVR) -- January 23

The Inpatient is a PSVR prequel to Sony’s choice-driven horror game Until Dawn, with the same writers and director at the helm. Set 60 years prior, you control a sanitarium patient trying to reclaim their missing memories. Voice recognition and player choices affect how you interact with the other residents of the asylum, changing how the story plays out.

Dragon Ball FighterZ (PS4, Xbox One, PC) -- January 26

Dragon Ball FighterZ is a 3v3 fighter based on the popular Dragon Ball anime franchise created by famed artist and writer Akira Toriyama. The game is developed by Arc System Works, the studio behind Guilty Gear and BlazBlue.

Monster Hunter World (Ps4, Xbox One) -- January 26

The Monster Hunter franchise returns to consoles with Monster Hunter World. It features larger maps than its predecessors with seamless transitions between areas. As with previous games in the series, you control a Hunter tasked to hunt down large monsters.
