Highlights From Target's Video Game Sale In The US
Much like GameStop, Target has dropped prices on a number of video games and accessories this week. In fact, Target has the exact same discount on the two biggest games from GameStop's sale: NBA 2K18 and WWE 2K18.
Both games are on sale for $30 on both PS4 and Xbox One, or half off their normal prices. Last-gen versions of NBA 2K18 are on sale for $20. Sports fans may also be interested in grabbing EA Sports UFC 3 while it's on sale for $40--not a bad deal.
It's not all sports games that are on sale at Target this week. There's also a big sale on Animal Crossing Amiibo figures. These figures originally cost $9 each, but you can get Tom Nook, Lottie, and a dual Timmy and Tommy Nook Amiibo for $2.68 each. Mabel and Blathers will run you a little more, in the mid-$5 range.
Mirror's Edge Catalyst is on sale for half price at $20 (it's also available with an EA Access subscription). The offroad racing game Gravel gets a 25% discount to land at $30. And in case you haven't bought the 3DS game Chibi-Robo: Zip Lash during one of its many previous sales, you can grab it for $15 now. (Though, judging by our mostly negative Chibi-Robo!: Zip Lash review, you might want to hold off for a better deal).
Although the series was canceled last year, Lego Dimensions remains a fine game, and it's on sale for $18 at Target. Its Chima Laval Fun Pack is also half off at $10. If you're looking for a high-quality gaming headset, Target has the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 for $130, which is $20 less than its suggested retail price.
