Another Free Chunk Of Hitman Out Now For A Limited Time
If you haven't yet had a chance to try out IO Interactive's latest Hitman game, which launched in 2016, now you have the opportunity to play part of it for free. The developer announced today that the game's Sapienza map is now available at no cost to all players across PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
The Sapienza map is one of the six locations to be released by IO, and it takes players to the Italian coastline. It's now available as part of the Spring Pack, a free pack that includes almost all of the content IO released for the Sapienza map.
This means that you can play through the entire story mission and all of its side content, including levels of Mastery, Escalation Missions, all challenges and Challenge Packs, and Featured Contracts. Additionally, you can take on any future Elusive Target that IO activates in Sapienza.
Once you download the Spring Pack, it's yours to keep. If you decide to buy the full game with all of the maps, your progress will carry over. The Spring Pack is available as a standalone download that includes the introductory ICA Facility location; if you already have the intro pack or other levels, you can download the Spring Pack through the in-game store. The pack will be available for free until April 3.
If you're already looking forward to a new Hitman game, IO has big plans for the series. After the developer was put up for sale by publisher Square Enix, it went independent in June of last year. Then, IO announced that a new game and TV show are on the way.
