The Rock's Super Bowl Movie Trailer Shows Him Jumping Off A Skyscraper

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has made a movie career on doing spectacular things and the trailer for his next film, Skyscraper, shows he's not about to stop. In the 45-second video he's shown scaling the outside of a massive crane, standing atop it, and leaping towards a skyscraper.

The film casts the wrestler turned movie star as Will Ford, a former FBI hostage rescue team leader and war veteran, who now lives life assessing security for skyscrapers. However, things take a turn for the worst when a building in China catches fire and he's blamed as the culprit. If that wasn't bad enough, his family are also trapped in the building. As you can imagine, he's on a mission to rescue his family and clear his name.

Skyscraper is written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber (Central Intelligence, We’re the Millers) and produced by Beau Flynn (San Andreas, Baywatch). Neve Campbell, Pablo Schreiber, and Kevin Ranking star alongside Johnson in the film, which will hit screens in the summer.

The trailer was shown at the Super Bowl, which also provided our first look at the Solo: A Star Wars Story trailer. On top of that, it was also announced that the next film in the Cloverfield series, The Cloverfield Paradox, will be available to stream today.
